Talking About Commas: Songs/Lyrics

So Much Left to See

(Talking About Commas)
2002
Connelly
I wrote the lyrics to this song during a Foundations of Organizational Behavior class. Needless to say, some of the terminology crept into the lyrics...
Oh stop your self serving point of view
this similar to me effect is misconstrued
how does you efficacy stand in time?
Take my hand or put your’s in mine

there’s so much left to see, I’m not who I thought I would be
because reading is not the same as sight and day is not the same as night

little green it is your space to enter late
force fed policies never relate
bad brains inflate upon a compliment
don’t get ahead of what has been established

there’s so much left to see, I’m not who I thought I would be
there is history so we can learn a lot and there’s future so we can start the clock

like a singer caught between a choice
a stranglehold will surely kill your voice

there’s so much left to see, I’m not who I thought I would be
does pleasure always come with pain?
Don’t lovers usually have names
