I moved to California the following summer...
it’s like the feeling you get when you come across something you should
not read, but you just can’t come to put it down
what if the thought on the page reflect my thoughts

I’ve even lost my love, one that I thought I could hold on to
As the blood rushes back up to my head
I realize that this is the first time
I would have been happier without you there
it may have been more surprising for me without
